I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list!
I'm a scientist, ultimate frisbee player, and outdoor adventurer. I often travel for the experiences saving money while still finding a place to call home, whether for a night, or for a whole week. Sometimes this leads to some questionable choices of lodging, experience I can use to deter you all from repeating, but often times my teams find places of great value. In New Zealand, one hostel welcomed us back from a full day of adventuring with a huge cauldron of stew, while another helped us build a team to complete the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (far more exciting that what we would have done without a car shuttle). Then in Spain, we found one of the best places for canyoneers. Even if you only spend one night, Abuelas de Seville are some of the most friendly hosts I've ever had, and they have a complete canyoneering store! Then of course, I've stayed at many hotels during ultimate frisbee tournaments across the US, but when it's all said and done, the DoubleTree in Santa Monica takes the cake with the ooey gooey chocolate chip cookies ;)More
